Mercury CVAA Analyst

Requirements:

• A.S. in chemistry or a related field and two years experience in an environmental laboratory OR

• B.S. in chemistry or a related field and one year experience in an environmental laboratory

• Six months of experience in operating and maintaining GFAA  instruments and interpreting GFAA data

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the technical aspects of each task associated with his/her instrument

• Familiarity with all Standard Operating Procedures for his/her area

• Perform instrument calibration, performance monitoring, data recording and reporting, safety practices and quality control procedures

• Assure proper quality controls measures are met

• Perform routine instrument maintenance

• Oversee and guide sample prep for his/her area

• Other duties as necessary
